Schmincke Super Granulating Watercolours - 15ml

Schmincke’s range of Supergranulating Watercolours have a distinctive feature in that the paints are based on pigments that have a natural tendency to granulate. This novel, natural structure formation of the colours, varies depending on the paper and the amount of water used. The rougher the paper, the stronger the granulating effect.

By combining two or more pigments in one paint, they complement and enhance the colour in combinations and create an incredible texture on the surface of the paper, and dry to a matt surface.

The paints are bound using Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara. Due to its tendency to differ slightly year on year, Schmincke continually test the ingredient and the best of the batch is selected to ensure the highest quality is achieved.

Also available in half pans.  All colours have 4 and 5 stars lightfastness.
