Established in 1830 Charvin oil colours are based on ancient recipes made it possible to make oil colours for such artists as Cezanne and Bonnard.
With the highest possible concentration of pigment and poppy oil being the principal binder of all our colours, this gives the oils a brilliant appearance, plus a creamy texture, and most importantly prevents them from yellowing with age. They are also permanent with a high degree of lightfastness.
