Following well established recipes, Rohrer & Klingner inks are made by hand, combining modern raw materials, namely acrylic resin and highly pigmented colorants.  The resin used is translucent and resistant to yellowing.  The pigments chosen are lightfast.

The inks can be applied using a dip pen or brush and can be made translucent with the addition of water.  Once dry, the inks are completely permanent - we couldn't shift them with bleach!
