A unique feature of squirrel hair is its ability to hold huge amounts of colour making it the perfect brush for laying down washes of watercolour over large areas whilst the point that it naturally comes to allows for good control into areas of fine detail.

Pro Arte Renaisance Squirrel mop makes use of traditional three-knot 'quill' binding to pack this particularly fine hair tightly enough to create a brush which gives a superb belly and provides a long, useful life.
